The FDA has expanded its approval of Pluvicto® (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan) to include PSMA-positive metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC). This type of prostate cancer is also called androgen pathway modulation-naïve or sensitive.

For men with metastatic prostate cancer, this means access to a more targeted treatment path from the very start.

How Pluvicto Works
Pluvicto is an intravenous medicine that targets PSMA, a protein found on most prostate cancer cells. It travels through your blood and delivers radiation to cells with PSMA on their surface, killing them. While on Pluvicto, you will also take an androgen receptor pathway inhibitor (ARPI) medicine and androgen deprivation therapy (ADT).
